Herne Hill Velodrome

Iv always been into bikes, especially fixed gear bikes for a while now, an about a month ago i rode on a velodrome for the first time was fucking scary but after a while i enjoyed every long tiring second of it all. My parents are really trying to encourage me to do it and always have, only thing is at the moment i dont have a bike, long story. So im trying to get them to get me or allow me to build a new bike!! but this saturday ima go up anyways and just borrow a bike good times

I was going though my old CDs and I found Nas first album which is called Illmatic. It was made in 1994 and it rock the hiphop world. I remember coppin this round the year 2000, I think it is dope and it has to be one of the best albums I ever heard. Every track is HOT trust me on this one!
This album made Nas to what he is now.

Volume 5 of the Supreme book has been officially announced. The book by New York’s most famous skate-retailer features RZA of Wu-Tang fame on the cover. Content includes feature stories on Damien Hirst, Puff Daddy, Eric Koston, Nate Lowman and John Lurie. Once again Supreme have utilised the legendary skills of photographer Terry Richardson. The new Supreme Book will be released in Japan on October 26 with a US to follow closely behind. I never even knew the had a fricken supreme book

Mike Giant

This guy has had a massive effect on todays graffiti art and especially tattoo art, with his very recognizable style of illustration, simple black and white drawings upon a page. What i hate is the amount of people have have literally copied his artwork and tried to call it there own i could name a couple people but hey im not like that, but speaking in general stop catting peoples artwork and do your own, artists spend years trying to perfect a technique so give it some respect, dont get me wrong i am very inspired by his work and his lifestyle and have taken alot of influence from him in the past 3 months. But i must say hes in my Top 5 artists. Mike Giant

This was a mixed media piece i did of my brother in 8 hours for my A level final piece, i made it using collage, alot of paper to build up certain parts of the picture, mainly spray paints then for the detailed sections i used acrylic paint then highlighted some areas using permanent markers :)

Hello everyone, this is my first attempt an hopefully only attempt to make a blog haha. Names Christian Newell, im 18 years old, was born in Italy, brought up in peckham pretty much all my life, bought 15 years id say. Since a young age iv always been very into the arts, from my first recollections of drawing inside on my favourite drawing books to my first oil paintings, to the first time i held a spray can. Atm im at Camberwell university of the arts doin a Foundation in art and design, hopefully goin to specialise in illustration in about a month or 2 id say.
